Understand the value of what you are buying.

In doing so, you become a better consumer and understand how to shop online.

Whenever you want to purchase an item (old or new), I do one or more of the following items.

1. Google it

2. Check it on Amazon

3. Check it on Ebay

4. Price Track it

There are a lot of other sites where you can do comparison shopping but the above sites are what I find most useful.

In determining the true value, you have to consider the following items:

  1.  retail price
  2.  shipping & handling
  3.  warranty
  4.  reviews
  5.  condition

I find that amazon’s customer reviews are valuable in evaluating a product.
